Education: Graduated from Technical Careers Institute with honors in 1985, majoring in electronics.
Career: IBM as an award winning System Service Representative working with clients and businesses for over 22 years since 1988. I travel all around the state working with a wide variety of businesses. My responsibilities include installing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing IBM products and systems. I also manage the technical services aspect, coordinating support resources and communicating with the customer to minimize problem impact in their data centers. Solve problems and come up with solutions for my clients as well as work on contracts and proposals for work to be done on computer systems in data centers. My job responsibilities are comparable to running a small business.
My job and life experience will enable me to work closely with other legislators to solve the major problems that our great state is facing in this difficult economic climate.
Personal: Born and raised in Colorado, arrived in Connecticut in 1977 married and raised my family here. I have been happily married to Les Brown Sr for 25 years, we reside in Bethany. Our passion is riding. We enjoy riding our motorcycles cross country whenever we can get away.
Blessed by four fantastic sons and one beautiful gifted daughter brought into our family by marriage and three wonderful granchildren. Three of my sons are Military two of them are Veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
